It turned out to be worn out brakes and the wheel was practically destroyed. The guy I spoke to was very genuine and friendly. He showed me a photo of the issue and explained the cost clearly. The place had a very honest vibe and I'll be making it my go-to garage for future issues. Cheers guys.
